How to Wear a Wig with Long Hair?

How to Wear a Wig with Long Hair?

We all know that when you put on a wig, you have to have all your natural hair hidden under the wig. This is easy when you have short and thin hair. But how can you hide your long and thick hair under the wig so that it's natural as much as possible? There are multiple ways to do that, mainly to braid it or pin it up.

Braid It

Firstly, separate or divide your hair into two sections.

Then plait one of the sections.

Remember that the plait should be firm but not too tight.

Secure it with a thin hair band at the tail.

Secondly, repeat for the second section.

Then wrap one of the plaits around the back of your head and bobby pin in place.

Wrap the second plait in the opposite direction.

Try to avoid overlapping the plaits.

Pin It Up

If you don't want to braid your hair, you can just use some bobby pins to pin it up. The way you pin it can be very casual, so long as the hair is flat and not too loose.

Or you can just make a the hair into a phony tail.

Remember no matter which method you use, the goal is to make the hair stay as much flat as possible so that the wig would not look bumpy on your head.

Wig Cap?

After you braid your hair or pin it down, it would be more secure if you cover the hair with a wig cap. A nylon wig cap rather then a mesh one is recommended, as he nylon one would help to flatten the hair. If your hair very long and thick, you can wear two caps to make it as flat as possible.

Now, it's all done and you can try your beautiful wig on!
